    1. Acceptance of terms

    Welcome to MRL DigiTech — a French-language tech blog and web creation agency. By accessing this site or using any of its services (reading articles, creating an account, submitting a contact form, requesting a quote), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully accepted these terms of service.

    If you do not accept these terms, you must stop using the site immediately. MRL DigiTech reserves the right to refuse access to anyone who does not comply with these terms.

    These terms apply to both dimensions of the site: the tech blog (reading, comments, newsletter) and the agency services (quote requests, website creation, UI/UX design, web applications).

    2. User account

    2.1 Registration requirements

    • You must be at least 15 years old to create an account (French GDPR threshold)
    • You must provide a valid email address and accurate information
    • Only one account per person — multiple accounts are prohibited
    • You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and any actions taken from your account
    • You agree to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

    2.2 Account deletion

    You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. Deletion cascades through all associated personal data (comments, likes, newsletter subscription) in accordance with our Privacy policy.

    3. Blog usage

    3.1 Reading articles

    Articles published on MRL DigiTech are freely accessible to all visitors. Their content (text, illustrations, code examples) is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without express authorization, beyond legal citation rights.

    3.2 Comments

    Posting comments requires an account. By commenting, you agree to:

    • Stay on topic with the article
    • Express yourself respectfully toward other members
    • Not post unsolicited promotional links (spam)
    • Not share personal information of third parties without their consent

    You may delete your own comments at any time. MRL DigiTech reserves the right to moderate or remove any comment that does not comply with these rules.

    3.3 License on content you publish

    By posting a comment, you grant MRL DigiTech a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it as part of the service. You retain full ownership of your content. This license ends when the content is deleted.

    4. Web creation services (agency)

    4.1 Nature of services

    MRL DigiTech offers web design and development services: showcase sites, React/TypeScript web applications, and UI/UX design. These services are subject to a personalized quote established after discussion with the client.

    4.2 Quote request

    Submitting the contact or quote-request form does not constitute a contractual commitment. It only opens a commercial discussion. A service contract takes effect only once a quote or purchase order is signed by both parties.

    4.3 Ownership of deliverables

    Unless otherwise expressly stated in the service contract, deliverables (source code, designs, mockups) are transferred to the client in full ownership after full payment of the agreed fees.

    4.4 Confidentiality

    MRL DigiTech undertakes to treat all information shared in the course of a commercial relationship (specifications, business data, technical access) as confidential.

    5. Prohibited behavior

    The following actions are strictly prohibited on MRL DigiTech:

    Spam and unsolicited commercial content

    Repetitive promotional comments, fake reviews, hidden affiliate links.

    Harassment and hate speech

    Intimidation, threats, discrimination based on origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

    Identity impersonation

    Impersonating another user, a member of the MRL DigiTech team, or a public figure.

    Technical attacks

    SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), denial of service (DDoS), vulnerability scanning, unauthorized access to third-party accounts.

    Automated data extraction

    Scraping, unauthorized crawlers, bots exploiting the API or site content for commercial purposes.

    Illegal content

    Copyright infringement, distribution of malware, child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence or hatred.

    Bypassing security measures

    Attempting to bypass authentication, rate limiting, or the database's RLS rules.

    6. Intellectual property

    All elements making up MRL DigiTech — articles, illustrations, source code, design, logo, brand, WebGL animations — are the exclusive property of MRL DigiTech or its licensors and are protected by French and European intellectual property law.

    Without prior written authorization, it is forbidden to:

    • Reproduce or distribute articles for commercial purposes
    • Use the MRL DigiTech name, logo, or brand for promotional purposes
    • Create derivative works based on our content without attribution
    • Remove copyright or ownership notices from the content

    Short citations from articles for comment, criticism, or information purposes are allowed provided the source is explicitly mentioned and a link to the original article is included.

    7. Usage limits and rate limiting

    To guarantee service quality for every user, technical limits are applied automatically:

    Mechanisms in place

    • Automatic flood detection (high-frequency repeated submissions)
    • Limit on the number of comments per period
    • Temporary IP address blocking in case of proven abuse

    Repeatedly exceeding these limits or any attempt to bypass them may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal of the account in question.

    8. Sanctions and termination

    In case of violation of these terms, MRL DigiTech reserves the right, without prior notice or compensation, to:

    • Delete non-compliant content
    • Temporarily suspend the account
    • Permanently terminate the account
    • Block the IP address in question
    • Report criminal offenses to the competent authorities
    • Pursue civil or criminal action for serious violations

    9. Limitation of liability

    The editorial content of MRL DigiTech is provided for information purposes. We do our best to ensure its accuracy but cannot be held liable for errors, omissions, or the rapid evolution of the technologies described.

    MRL DigiTech is not liable for:

    • Service interruptions due to maintenance or technical incidents
    • Indirect damages, data loss, or loss of earnings resulting from use of the site
    • Content published by users (comments)
    • Third-party sites that links may point to

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, MRL DigiTech's total liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the user for the services giving rise to the dispute.

    10. Governing law and jurisdiction

    These terms are governed by French law and applicable European law (notably the GDPR and the e-Commerce Directive).

    In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any court action. Failing an amicable agreement within 30 days, any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts.

    In accordance with article 14 of the GDPR and the European regulation on online dispute resolution, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

    11. Changes to the terms

    MRL DigiTech reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page, along with a new update date.

    For substantial changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email (if you have an account) or via a banner on the site. Continued use of the site after the changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
